In his
announcement Mr. Cooper said:
"Although
"V.P. of Performance Excellence" is a somewhat unusual title,
it embodies our commitment to the continuous improvement of all of
our systems and processes."
"The
new position will have overall responsibility for Manufacturing, Operations
and Quality, with a primary emphasis of moving our "lean manufacturing"
work cells towards World-Class performance.
"Having
these three departments under one V.P. will further emphasize LC&D’s
multi-disciplinary, cross-functional approach to problem solving and
innovation."
