The customer previously had been plagued by a number of problems from its former supplier, and was about to increase production on several new models.

It did not want to live with problems of poor on-time delivery, low quality, short product life and a supplier who seemed financially unstable. It was time for a change.

Our solution was an integrated assembly incorporating newly designed light assemblies, chimes, temperature sensors and other electronics. Our new design concept yielded higher reliability and we were able to pass on a $500,000 year cost savings to the customer.

Last year LC&D produced over 750,000 units of this and similar products achieving a 100% customer satisfaction rating for on time delivery of defect free production.
