The customer is an internationally recognized manufacturer of household appliances (vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, etc.).  LC&D custom designed and manufactured a cost effective lighting assembly for a new family of vacuum cleaners and replaced a low reliability unit previously provided by another manufacturer.

Producing over 600,000 parts per year, our new design solved problems of bulb breakage, high maintenance and low reliability in a high vibration environment and yielded significant savings in parts and warranty costs.

Customer savings exceeded $100,000 per year on purchase costs, plus additional savings in warranty costs (due to high reliability), and improved customer satisfaction.
